Nothing more important to a democracy than a educated & engage citizenry. Just one thing please don’t make the same mistake that past generations have made about Washington & Wall Street . That would be that you guys will some how change the system. If their one thing I learned in my 34 years of living “The System” will alimentally will change you. We are indoctrinated in this country at a young age to fear Big Government & rightfully so no one wants to live in a authoritarian society . But I also fear living in a
Corpramocracy & That’s the path we been on for the past 30 plus years. No regulations let the market dictate what’s best for the nation (money + power at the top = democracy).
It’s going to be tough we are a very ignorant people who are more worried about Race, Abortion, Sexual Orientation, Region while the people at the top make policies that benefit themselves. Some how we have to find a way to talk to the masses
( Middle class, Blue colure, Working poor people) & explain to our Friends , Family & Neighbors that things have to change we been living a lie. Good luck with that one with the propaganda machine in this country.
Just want to say I have faith in this young generation & Take your message to the people don’t worry about changing the system change comes from the bottom up never from the top down.
