Clean Jobs and American Powers Act

Over the last several months I have devoted (and will continue to devote) a considerable amount of time discussing the need  to protect our precious ecosystem.  Recently, in the news I learned Operation FREE joined with Senators John Kerry (D-MA) andBarbara Boxer (D-CA) in supporting the Clean Jobs and American Power Act.

For those that don’t know, the new clean energy legislation just unveiled in the Senate.  At a press conference this morning, the Senators were joined by their colleagues, Senators Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), Ben Cardin (D-MD), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Jeanne Sheheen (D-NH), Mark Udall (D-CO), Tom Udall (D-NM), and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) to announce this landmark legislation.

I support this legislation because I believe it will set our nation on a path away from our dependence on fossil fuels.  I further support the bill because it will create jobs.  An additional compelling reason I support this movement is because it is being led by Millennials.   An alliance has been forged by young military servicemen and women and Baby Boomers and together we are working to cut carbon pollution and develop a clean energy source.

In the words of Senator Kerry, “The Clean Jobs and American Power Act is aimed at no less than the reinvention of the way America produces and uses energy. It will be a challenge, but America has never shied away from a challenge before.”

When a nation faces its greatest challenges, generations must work together for the common and greater good.Check out this link of generations joining forces.

Wow this was potentially one of the best blurbs I’ve had the chance to view on the topic so far. I don’t have any idea where you gather up all your info but up! I am going to send some people on over to take a look at this post. Amazing, just plain amazing. I am just getting into crafting articles myself, nothing remotely close to your writing potential (doh) but I would love for you to take my stuff sometime! right here
